If I also install Office with no customization to the shortcuts (as in a vanilla install), the notifications work correctly and also Outlook appears under "Get notifications from these senders" within the windows settings. Now, it is time to set the recurrence for the appointment. It should appear under "Get notifications from these senders". Outlook does not appear under the notification settings in Windows. Check here for more information on the status of new features and updates. This has worked completely fine on both Windand 1703. The Microsoft 365 Roadmap lists updates that are currently planned for applicable subscribers. I also have a Office customization file (OCT/MSP file) which includes the customization of shortcuts on the desktop and grouping into a folder within the start menu. I have the same issue where the notifications are no longer working after updating to 1709.
